Tragic Pedestrian Crash on Spunky Canyon Road Kills 1 [Santa Clarita, CA]

Santa Clarita, CA (November 20, 2024) On Tuesday morning, a person was pronounced dead after a horrific pedestrian crash on Spunky Canyon Road.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACFD), the fatal incident happened at about 6:45 a.m. at the intersection with San Francisquito Canyon Road.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian in Green Valley near Santa Clarita, first responders received reports of a pedestrian-involved collision at the intersection of San Francisquito Canyon Road and Spunky Canyon Road.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian deceased. The California Highway Patrol’s (CHP) Antelope Valley Area Office is currently investigating the crash.

Authorities have not released the pedestrian’s identity, pending notification of their next of kin.
