Homeless Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Harbor Gateway
Los Angeles, CA (October 2, 2024) On Sunday evening, a man was killed in a horrific pedestrian crash on Rosecrans Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), the fatal crash happened around 9:29 p.m. at Rosecrans Avenue and Figueroa Street.
Reports say that a vehicle struck and fatally injured a homeless man as he walked along Rosecrans Avenue in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles.
Officials say that the 40-year-old pedestrian, who was heading westbound on Rosecrans Avenue, was hit by a westbound vehicle.
Emergency responders transported him to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and fully cooperated with authorities.
