LOS ANGELES, CA (February 15, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on North Broadway near Spring Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. at the 600 block of North Broadway between Hill and Spring streets.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a northbound vehicle struck a pedestrian, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid. Then, a second vehicle struck the victim, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 56-years-old victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, authorities confirmed that the driver of the first vehicle circled and returned to the scene.
