MENIFEE, CA (August 5, 2023) – Friday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on Menifee Road and Wickerd Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:20 a.m. at the intersection of Menifee Road and Wickerd Road.

According to the Menifee Police Department, a Dodge Ram struck a male pedestrian who was walking in the middle of southbound lanes on Menifee Road for still unknown reasons. The Dodge Ram driver remained at the scene and called 911.

Moreover, Riverside County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
