The incident happened at around 12:30 a.m. on Interstate 635 near Coit Road.

According to the Dallas Police, a vehicle struck a 7-year-old pedestrian who wandered out into the service road. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid. Also, a second vehicle struck the victim who was already down in the pavement.
