Victorville, CA (February 23, 2024) Early Thursday morning, a person lost their life after a horrific pedestrian crash on Interstate 15.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 2:36 a.m. on the northbound I-15 at the Roy Rogers Drive offramp.
Reports say that a gray Kia Stringer fatally struck the pedestrian who was walking on the freeway. Officials pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene and called 911.
