Fatal Hit-an-Run Crash on Interstate 5 Under Investigation
Seattle, WA (August 7, 2024) Early Sunday morning, a woman was killed in a horrific pedestrian crash on I-5.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal hit-and-run crash happened at about 1 a.m. on northbound I-5 at S Albro Place near Boeing Field.
Reports say that a woman was struck by 2 vehicles, first in the third lane, then by a second vehicle that fled the scene heading northbound.
Officials say that the 2nd vehicle was possibly a big rig. Authorities pronounced the female pedestrian dead at the scene.
Authorities are investigating the deadly crash and have not released further details at this time.
