LOS ANGELES, CA (November 7, 2024) – Sunday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on Hoover Street and Florence Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Hoover Street and Florence Avenue.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a black SUV vehicle struck a female pedestrian who was crossing the street. Then, a white sedan struck a victim who was already down on the pavement.

Authorities confirmed that the pedestrian died in the crash.

Officers confirmed that the black SUV fled the scene without stopping to provide aid, while the driver of the sedan remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
