1 Person Dead in Butler County Auto Accident on Highway 60 near Fisk
BUTLER COUNTY, MO (November 18, 2024) – Saturday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on Highway 60 near Fisk killed one person.
The incident started at around 1:30 a.m. when two eastbound vehicles collided for still unknown reasons. Then, the force of the crash ejected a passenger of one of the vehicles into the roadway.
According to reports, an eastbound semi-truck struck the ejected passenger who was already down on the pavement with serious injuries.
Moreover, responders pronounced the male passenger, dead at the scene. Responders transported the driver of the other vehicle to a local hospital with minor injuries.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
Due to limited information, the Missouri State Highway Patrol continued investigating the crash.
