Placer County, CA (September 14, 2024) On Thursday evening, a van fatally struck an 73-year-old Orangevale woman in tragic pedestrian crash on Edgewood Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the deadly auto-pedestrian crash happened at about 8:17 p.m. on eastbound Edgewood Road, east of Blitz Lane.

Reports say that a van hit a female pedestrian, medics rushed the injured victim to the hospital, where she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and was declared deceased.
