TUCSON, AZ (November 22, 2023) – Monday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on East Fort Lowell Road near North Stone Avenue killed one person.

Reports said that the incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on East Fort Lowell Road, about a block west of North Stone Avenue.

According to the Tucson Police Department, a westbound 2013 Volkswagen Passat in the curb lane struck a male pedestrian who was in the roadway for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed the man to Banner University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Furthermore, the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
