BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 31, 2024) – Friday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on 3200 Buck Owens Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. at the 3200 block of Buck Owens Boulevard.

According to the Bakersfield Police Department, a northbound white hatchback struck a male pedestrian who was in the northbound lanes outside a marked crosswalk.

Moreover, responders pronounced the victim, dead at the scene.
