1 Person Dead in Buda Pedestrian Accident on 1750 FM 1626

BUDA, TX (April 16, 2024) – Early Sunday morning, a tragic pedestrian crash on 1750 FM 1626 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 12:20 a.m. in the 1750 block of FM 1626 in front of Buck’s Backyard.

According to reports, a car struck a pedestrian who was attempting to cross the road in front of the bar. Then, the driver and a passenger of the vehicle were also transported to a hospital for evaluation.

Responding paramedics rushed the victim to Seton Hays Hospital where the patient was later pronounced dead.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Buda Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
