MID CITY, CA (September 27, 2023) – Monday night, a tragic pedestrian crash on 10 Freeway and Crenshaw Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 9:00 p.m. on 10 Freeway at the Crenshaw Boulevard on-ramp.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking on the on-ramp for still unknown reasons.

As a result, responders pronounced the male pedestrian dead at the scene.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the Los Angeles Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
