TRAVIS COUNTY, TX (April 26, 2023) – Monday afternoon, a tragic multi-vehicle crash on W US 290 and Circle Drive killed 1 person.

The incident happened just after 2:30 p.m. in the 8600 block of W US 290, west of Circle Drive.

According to reports, the crash involved three vehicles and five people.

ATCEMS, Austin Fire, and Oak Hill fire crews all came to the scene.

Meanwhile, officers declared 1 adult dead at the scene. Moreover, STAR Flight transported two adults with potentially serious injuries to Dell Seton Medical Center and St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.

Also, officers diverted the traffic as both west and eastbound lanes are shut down.
