2 People Dead in Torrance Multi-Vehicle Accident on 405 Freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard

TORRANCE, CA (November 13, 2024) – Monday night, a tragic multi-vehicle crash on 405 Freeway near Crenshaw Boulevard killed two people.

The incident happened around 11:44 p.m. on the San Diego (405) Freeway, south of Crenshaw Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a vehicle that struck the center divider, and a vehicle that overturned.

Paramedics pronounced two male victims, dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that the crash closed all southbound San Diego Freeway lanes between Crenshaw Boulevard and Western Avenue and the Crenshaw Boulevard on-ramp to the southbound freeway.

Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.

Due to the limited information available, the CHP continued investigating the crash.
