PETALUMA, CA (July 16, 2023) – Friday night, a tragic motorcycle crash on Sonoma Mountain Parkway and East Madison Street killed one person.

The incident happened at around 6:50 p.m. on Sonoma Mountain Parkway at East Madison Street.

According to Petaluma police Sgt. Ryan McGreevy, a northbound motorcycle collided with a minivan SUV that was making a left-hand turn from Linnet Lane onto Sonoma Mountain Parkway.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the motorcyclist died in the crash.

Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
