1 Person Dead in in Fortuna Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 near Main Street
FORTUNA, CA (November 11, 2024) – Sunday afternoon, a tragic motorcycle crash on Highway 101 near Main Street killed one person.
The incident happened at around 12:04 p.m. on Highway 101 near the Main Street off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a motorcycle and at least two people who were down on the pavement.
Moreover, responders rushed both patients to a hospital where the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead.
Furthermore, the crash closed northbound Highway 101 but has long since reopened.
The events leading to the crash remain unclear at this time. The public will be notified when additional information becomes available.
