GALVESTON COUNTY, TX (May 28, 2024) – Monday morning, a tragic motorcycle crash on Gulf Freeway near FM 519 killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Gulf Freeway near FM 519/Main.

According to reports, a woman fell off a motorcycle, but the male driver sped away from the scene. Then, authorities started a pursuit against the motorcyclist.

Moreover, the suspect collided with a flatbed truck and a Toyota Tundra.

Furthermore, responders pronounced the 30-year-old male motorcyclist, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the woman who fell from the motorcycle to a hospital with critical injuries. Also, a male occupant of the Tundra sustained serious injuries and was transported to a hospital.
