Reports said that the incident happened at around 2:24 a.m. on 8th Street and N Street.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, a vehicle and a motorcycle collided in the area for still unknown reasons. Then, the vehicle fled the scene after the crash without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, responders rushed the 22-year-old motorcyclist to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
