CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (September 12, 2024) – Wednesday afternoon, a tragic motorcycle crash near Antelope Road and Mariposa Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. near Antelope Road and Mariposa Avenue.

According to reports, a vehicle and a motorcyclist collided in the area between Interstate 80 and Auburn Boulevard for still unknown reasons.

Sacramento Metro Fire pronounced the motorcyclist, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, the crash closed eastbound Antelope Road, but has long since reopened.
