1 Dead in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Wallisville Road
HARRIS COUNTY, TX (May 10, 2023) – Late Monday night, a tragic hit-and-run crash on Wallisville Road killed 1 person.
The incident happened shortly before midnight in the 14000 block of Wallisville Road in northeast Harris County.
According to some witnesses, an oncoming black truck hit a man standing in the middle of the roadway.
Then, the black truck failed to stop and render aid. Officers confirmed that the truck fled the crash scene.
Meanwhile, a nearby deputy pulled onto the scene and hit the man once more.
The authorities declared the man dead at the scene.
Moreover, investigators found vehicle parts possibly belonging to the driver for evidence. Also, the authorities haven’t determined why the was standing in the roadway.
