1 Person Dead in Travis County Motorcycle Accident on US 183 and FM 973
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX (May 3, 2023) – Saturday night, a tragic hit-and-run crash on US 183 and FM 973 killed a motorcyclist.
The incident happened at around 11:56 p.m. at the intersection of US 183 and FM 973.
According to reports, an unidentified vehicle struck a southbound 2003 Suzuki motorcycle. Then, the crash ejected the motorcyclist into the roadway but the motorcycle was dragged underneath the front of the vehicle. Also, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the collision.
Moreover, responding paramedics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that a witness described the suspect vehicle as a 2014 to 2018 Cadillac Escalade (GM).
