2 People Dead in Los Angeles Auto Accident on Normandie Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 22, 2023) – Sunday morning, a fatal hit-and-run crash on Normandie Avenue killed two people.

The incident happened at around 12:37 a.m. on Normandie Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a white Jeep Wrangler Rubicon collided with a white BMW that was exiting a drive-thru restaurant at the corner of Normandie Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr.

Then, the Jeep driver, a man in his 30s, fled the scene on foot after the crash.

Moreover, responders pronounced two occupants of the BMW, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the suspect at his home.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, authorities continued to investigate the crash.
