HANFORD, CA (July 4, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a tragic hit-and-run crash on Kent Avenue near 16th Avenue killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Kent Avenue near 16th Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound Kia struck a male pedestrian, and then fled the scene on foot on 16th Avenue, south of Jersey Avenue.

Moreover, authorities confirmed that the 38-year-old male pedestrian died in the incident.
