LOS ANGELES, CA (September 25, 2023) – Saturday night, a tragic hit-and-run crash on Hoover Street near Pico Boulevard killed one person.

The incident happened at around 8:30 p.m. on Hoover Street near Pico Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a southbound white pickup truck struck a pedestrian and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

As a result, paramedics transported the male victim to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
