Tragic Hit-and-Run Crash on 6th Street Claims a Life [San Francisco, CA]

San Francisco, CA (February 9, 2024) On Thursday morning, a tragic hit-and-run crash on 6th Street claimed the life of a person.

According to San Francisco Police, the fatal hit-and-run happened around 5 a.m. in the 500 block of 6th Street.

Reports say that a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian and fled the scene before authorities arrived.

Police and medics responding to the area found a person struck by the car, medics attempted to help the injured person, however, the person succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the fatal incident and have not released further information about the crash, the suspect is still at large.
