STOCKTON, CA (September 9, 2023) – Monday morning, a tragic hit-and-run crash on El Dorado Street near Interstate 5 killed one person.

The incident happened between 2:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. on the El Dorado Street on-ramp near southbound Interstate 5.

According to the California Highway Patrol Stockton Division, a 2015-2019 model gray Ford Mustang struck a bicyclist and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.

Moreover, officers confirmed that the male bicyclist died in the crash.
