Tragic Head-On Crash on State Route 101 Kills 2 [Sequim, WA]

Sequim, WA (July 8, 2023) On Friday afternoon, 2 people were killed in a head-on crash on State Route 101 near Sequim.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), one of the victims in the deadly crash was a 9-year-old child.

Reports say that a southbound vehicle crossed into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle. Officials say that the southbound vehicle crossed the center line to avoid slowing traffic.

Medics say that both occupants of the southbound vehicle were killed in the head-on crash.
