FRESNO, CA (June 27, 2024) – Wednesday morning, a tragic head-on crash on Shaw near Chateau Fresno killed one person.

The incident happened at around 4:00 a.m. on Shaw near Chateau Fresno.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an eastbound pickup truck.

Moreover, responders pronounced the driver of the Hyundai dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the driver of the pickup to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Furthermore, the crash closed Shaw Avenue between Chateau Fresno and Monroe Avenue.
