1 Person Dead in Aromas Auto Accident on San Juan Road and Murphy Road

AROMAS, CA (June 15, 2023) – Wednesday morning, a tragic head-on crash on San Juan Road and Murphy Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 5:18 a.m. on San Juan Road and Murphy Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an eastbound 2010 Chrysler Town and Country van veered across the double yellow line for still unknown reasons and collided head-on with a westbound 2018 Chevrolet Express with 13 occupants.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 67-year-old driver of the Chrysler Town and Country, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the 62-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet Express with major injuries and one of its passengers with complains of pain, to Natividad Hospital for treatment.

At this time, the circumstances involved in the crash remained unclear. When additional information became available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, authorities continued to investigate the crash.
