Tragic Head-On Crash on Highway 80 Kills Woman [Buckeye, AZ]

Buckeye, AZ (October 28, 2023) On Friday afternoon, a female driver died, and 3 people were hurt in a horrific head-on crash on Highway 80.

According to MCSO deputies, the 2-vehicle collision happened at about 12:30 p.m. in the area of Old U.S. Highway 80 and Salome Highway, west of Buckeye.

Reports say that 2 vehicles collided head-on, one vehicle had 3 occupants while the other had a lone female driver.

Officials say that the driver and 2 passengers from the other vehicle suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the female driver was declared dead at the scene due to the fatal injuries she suffered from the crash.
