KANSAS CITY, MO (September 25, 2024) – On Saturday, a tragic head-on crash near Missouri 23 and SE 725th Road killed one person.

The incident happened near Missouri 23 and SE 725th Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2017 Ford Explorer veered across the center lane and collided head-on with a 2004 Dodge Ram.

Moreover, responders pronounced the 76-year-old female driver of the Ford, dead at the scene. Then, paramedics transported the 34-year-old female driver of the Dodge to an area hospital with minor injuries.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
