1 Dead in Oakland Multi-Vehicle Accident on Telegraph Avenue

OAKLAND, CA (April 23, 2023) – Early Saturday, a tragic four-car pile-up on Telegraph Avenue killed 1 person.

The incident occurred just after 2 a.m. on the 2700 block of Telegraph Avenue.

According to reports, a Toyota Tacoma traveled southbound and rear-ended a Mazda CX-9.

Meanwhile, the Mazda then hit the rear of a Nissan Altima and a Toyota Camry.

When the first responders arrived, they located a 51-year-old man from Alameda unresponsive in Tacoma. Then, the authorities took the man to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Moreover, the authorities haven’t determined whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
