Tragic Fiery Accident on Duarte Road Kills Child [Monrovia, CA]

Monrovia, CA (September 10, 2023) On Saturday evening, a child died and several injured after a tragic fiery accident on Duarte Road.

According to the Monrovia Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 7:35 p.m. at the intersection of Duarte Road and Fifth Avenue.

Reports say that a vehicle collided with parked vehicles, struck a tree, and burst into flames.

First responders arrived at the scene and found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Rescuers extinguished the flames and treated the occupants of the vehicle.

Medics rushed the injured patients to Los Angeles General Medical Center. However, a child occupant later succumbed to the injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
