AUSTIN, TX (April 19, 2023) – Tuesday morning, a tragic bicycle accident on N Lamar Boulevard near West 11th Street kills 1.

The incident happened at around 8:20 a.m. in the 1100 block of N Lamar Boulevard near West 11th Street.

According to reports, a northbound bicyclist fell into the roadway for still unknown reasons. Then, a vehicle struck the bicyclist who was already down on the pavement.

Moreover, Austin-Travis County EMS medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Furthermore, officers closed both the southbound and northbound lanes to give way to the responders.
