Kent, WA (November 23, 2023) On Wednesday afternoon, a male bicyclist died after a tragic bicycle accident near Central Avenue S.

The Kent Police Department says that the fatal auto-pedestrian crash happened around 12:33 p.m. near the intersection with E Willis Street.

Reports say that a 48-year-old man, died from his injuries due to the serious car crash in the area.

Officials say that a southbound car collided with the cyclist causing serious injuries, despite medical personnel attempting life-saving aid, the man succumbed to the fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old man driving the car stayed at the scene and was determined not to be impaired at the time of the crash.

Kent PD is investigating the fatal crash.
