Tragic Accident on South Date Street Kills 27-Year-Old Motorcyclist [Escondido, CA]

Escondido, CA (June 10, 2023) On Friday morning, a 27-year-old motorcyclist died in a tragic accident on South Date Street.

According to the Escondido police, the deadly motorcycle crash happened around 2:45 a.m. at South Date Street and East Fifth Avenue.

Officials say that the male motorcyclist lost control of his bike and collided with the chain-link fence in central Escondido. Authorities say that there was another motorcyclist at the time of the crash, however, no additional information is available at this time.

Medics rushed the biker to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and died at the hospital.

Escondido PD is investigating the deadly motorcycle crash and is looking for witnesses that could help the case.
