WSP Investigates Disastrous Vehicle Collision on State Route 243
Beverly, WA (December 2, 2023) On Friday evening, a tragic 2-vehicle collision on SR 243 near Vantage Bridge left a person dead.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the disastrous vehicle collision happened around 7:14 p.m. at the junction of State Route 243 and State Route 26.
Reports say that the fatal collision involved a semi-truck and a van. A person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic was blocked for SR 26/SR 243 and a detour was placed to the west and Beverly Burke Road to the east.
Authorities are investigating the fatal collision.
