Tragic 2-Vehicle Accident on H Street Kills 2 People [Tulare, CA]

Tulare, CA (June 16, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a 22-year-old, man and a 23-year-old woman from Tulare died after a 2-vehicle accident on H Street.

According to the Tulare Police Department (TPD), the fatal 2-car collision happened at about 11 p.m. at the intersection with Inyo Avenue.

Reports say that a white Ford Focus and a silver Chevy Traverse collided in the area. Officials say that the Ford was on its side in the Sno-White parking lot, while the Chevy was in the middle of the roadway.

Authorities say that the Ford was southbound on H Street and after stopping at the posted stop sign, upon entering the intersection, the eastbound Chevy struck the Ford. The impact of the collision caused the Ford to roll over.

Officials say that both occupants of the Ford, a male driver and a female passenger, died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevy was transported to a nearby hospital.

TPD is investigating the probable cause of the fatal 2-car collision.
