Injury Reported in Fatal 2-Vehicle Collision on Washington Street
Palm Desert, CA (September 20, 2023) On Tuesday afternoon, 1 person died while another was hospitalized after a 2-car crash on Hovley Lane.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal collision happened around 2:50 p.m. at Hovley Lane and Washington Street.
Reports say that 2 vehicles collided at the intersection, first responders say that good Samaritans were performing life-saving measures on one of the drivers, however, even the efforts of medics, the driver succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the other driver suffered unspecified minor injuries, medics transported the driver to a hospital.
Deputies are investigating the probable cause of the fatal 2-vehicle collision.
