Tragic 2-Car Collision on State Route 512 Kills Man [Puyallup, WA]

Puyallup, WA (July 26, 2024) On Wednesday evening, a 58-year-old Federal Way man was found dead and 3 women hurt after a 2-car collision on State Route 512.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the fatal rollover crash happened at about 9 p.m. on SR-512 at Canyon Road E.

Reports say that the collision involved an eastbound 1995 Chevrolet Corvette, driven by the Federal Way man, and a westbound vehicle occupied by the 3 women.

Officials say that the Chevy crossed over all lanes, crashed into a cable barrier, crossed into the westbound lane and crashed into the other vehicle.

Authorities say that both vehicles came to rest in the first and second lanes.

First responders arrived at the scene and pronounced the Federal Way man dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the 3 women in the other vehicle, were hurt and hospitalized for treatment.

Officials are investigating the probable cause of the crash and have not released additional information at this time.
