Leander, TX (August 27, 2023) On Saturday morning, a traffic tragedy on 183A Toll Road left 2 people dead and multiple others hurt.

According to the Leander Police Department, the fatal hit-and-run collision happened at about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of 183A Toll Road frontage road and Hero Way.

Reports say that the collision involved a silver vehicle and a tan vehicle with a trailer. Officials say that the driver and front-passenger of the silver vehicle both perished at the scene.

Additionally, officials say that 2 adults were transported to St. David’s Round Rock, and 2 others were taken to Dell Children’s.

Meanwhile, the driver of the tan vehicle fled the scene and is still at large.
