Major Traffic Backup in Tempe Accident on Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway near Scottsdale Road
TEMPE, AZ (December 2, 2020) – Friday afternoon, a vehicle crash on Loop 202 Red Mountain Freeway near Scottsdale Road slowed traffic.
According to officers, the collision happened at around 3:00 p.m.
Arizona Department of Transportation said that the crash shuts down all eastbound lanes of the freeway. At around 5:00 p.m., the right lanes reopened with a traffic backup up to Sky Harbor Blvd. Westbound lanes are unaffected in the crash.
