Edinburg PD says that a northbound Mitsubishi stalled on the highway and a Ford collided with the stopped vehicle. The impact of the collision led to the Mitsubishi bursting into flames.

Police say that no one was seriously injured in the crash. TxDOT closed the roads between Trenton and Freddy.

Officials are investigating the 2-vehicle collision and have not released further details about the incident.
