WSP Investigates 2-Vehicle Collision on Williams Lake Road
Deming, WA (May 2, 2023) On Monday afternoon, a traffic crash on State Route 9 (Valley Highway) resulted in injuries.
WSP says that the 2-vehicle collision happened around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Valley Highway (SR9) and Williams Lake Road.
Reports say that a southbound White 1992 Ford F150, driven by an 18-year-old from Acme, failed to negotiate a curve, went over the opposite lane, and collided head-on with a 2012 Toyota Prius. The Prius had 2 occupants, an 18-year-old driver from Deming with a 71-year-old passenger.
Both drivers and the passengers were transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The crash wrecked both vehicles.
Authorities are investigating the 2-vehicle collision and have not released additional information at this time.
