Five Hospitalized After FedEx Truck Crashes into Multiple Vehicles in Folsom
Folsom, CA (October 7, 2024) On Saturday afternoon, 5 people, including 2 children, were hurt and hospitalized after a multi-vehicle traffic crash on Lake Natomas Crossing.
According to the Folsom Fire Department Battalion (FFDB), the horrific crash happened at 12:15 p.m. on the Lake Natomas Crossing bridge.
Folsom Fire Department says that a southbound FedEx truck drifted into the northbound lanes, striking four vehicles, some head-on.
Reports say that the crash involved a FedEx truck, 3 SUVs, and a pickup truck towing a trailer.
Of the eight people involved, three adults and two children were hospitalized with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Officials say that the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
