Catastrophic Traffic Crash on Highway 41 Led to Fatalities [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (April 20, 2024) On Friday evening, a violent traffic crash on Highway 41 killed 3 people and hurt 4 other people, including a minor.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 41 Southbound and East Nebraska Avenue.

Reports say the fatal crash involved a Silverado pickup truck and a Dodge pickup truck hauling a fifth-wheel trailer, or camper.

Officials say that the Silverado was crossing the intersection and failed to yield to the Dodge, causing the collision.

Authorities pronounced the Silverado driver, identified as a man in his 50s, dead at the scene. Officials say that 3 female passengers on the Silverado were thrown out of the vehicle, 2 of the women were declared dead at the scene, while the 3rd passenger was airlifted to CRMC with major injuries.

Meanwhile, the Dodge’s occupants, 2 men in their 30s and a 4-year-old boy were taken to CRMC.

Authorities are investigating the horrific traffic crash.
