Carmichael, CA (September 4, 2024) On Monday evening, a male skateboarder in his 20s died after a horrific traffic crash on Fair Oaks Boulevard.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened at about 8 p.m. near the intersection with Marshall Avenue.

Reports say that a westbound Chevrolet Suburban fatally struck a pedestrian riding a skateboard. Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Authorities are investigating the probable cause of the crash, officials say that the driver of the Chevy, a man in his 20s, did not show signs of impairment at the time of the crash.
