Phoenix, AZ (November 27, 2024) On Tuesday morning, a disastrous traffic crash near 7th Avenue left a Phoenix police officer with serious injuries.

According to authorities, the horrendous collision happened at the intersection with St. Anne.

Reports say that the Phoenix police officer sustained serious injuries in a car crash Tuesday morning near 7th Avenue and St. Anne, just north of Vineyard Road.

Authorities confirmed that the officer was transported to a hospital for treatment but is expected to be released later in the day.

The adult driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Officials have not released further details about the crash at this time.
